In three tournaments three players have executed the international norms{rates}: - in 1-st tournament BaltCUP-GMI in January, 2007 the norm of the international grand master was executed by Nikolay Gouljaev (Russia, republic Saha-Yakutia) - in 2-nd tournament BaltCUP-GMI in January, 2008 the norm of the international master was executed by Sergey Kalinov (Russia, Moscow) - in tournament BaltCUP-SUMMER-2008 Peter Steijlen (Netherlands) has executed norm of the international master.

BaltCUP-GMI 2009 3-rd grand masters tournament BaltCUP-GMI will pass in a Vilnius in hotel "Martialis" during from January, 4 till January, 10th 2009г. Number of participants 30 person. Tournament will take place on the Swiss system in 9 rounds. The first 3 rounds the rating toss-up will be lead. BaltCUP-SUMMER-2009 At unanimous requests of participants BaltCUP-SUMMER-2008 the open tournament-festival BaltCUP-SUMMER-2009 will pass in summer of 2009. Rough terms on June, 19-26th. In the basic tournament the Swiss system in 9 rounds is supposed. The first 3 rounds the rating toss-up will be lead. Besides the basic tournament состится the blitz-tournament also will be lead tournaments on basketball, volleyball, tennis, billiards. Number of participants - up to 50 person.
